Three Topics

My first graded essay for the semester is due on Wednesday. I have narrowed it down to three topics that I may write about. The first topic describes how my first job interview went. This recent Tuesday I had an interview at the Water Tower Mall downtown for the Victoria's Secret Pink store. I had really high hopes of getting the job. Sadly, I didn't get the job. The second topic is about when I had to place a restraining order against a girl who was causing problems.It wasn't an easy thing to do but when your life may be threatened, it is the best thing to do. The third topic is about a past job that I had that was a nightmare. It was one of the worst jobs that I have ever had. My boss was a very paranoid woman who had many problems. 

English 101-7

Hello everybody! My name is Lizeth. I am a freshman at NEIU. For this semester I have enrolled in English 101. I want to start off by giving the reasons for why I am taking English 101. For starters, not only is it a required course at NEIU but it is also a required course to transfer into UIC. One of my main goals in life is to become a registered nurse. Although I am very comfortable at NEIU, there is no nursing major. Therefore, I am hoping to transfer into UIC. I can see why English 101 is a required course in many schools. I believe it helps students become better writers. For example, I am not the best writer out there. I need help with my writing skills. Writing is very important. There is no doubt that it is needed in every persons daily life. Knowing how to write can have its great benefits. It can land a person a good job. I hope I can learn many new things that can make me a better writer.
